When summer comes around, the evenings brighten up on The Beaches of Fort Myers & Sanibel. Our most famed and acclaimed brewing companies have been hard at work brewing batch after batch of refreshing new flavors to break out at their various summer events. See the list below and check out what’s on tap this summer at our local breweries.

Fort Myers Brewing Company

This hopping-bobbing craft brewery features a number of flagship flavors, seasonal brews and even a wide selection of small time specialties. Be sure to visit around the end of June so you can get in on their annual Summerfest event. There, you can sample any one of 60 rotating beers, including their most popular varieties like Sun-Juggler and Get Leid. Other popular summer selections include pilsners like High 5 and OYA. Not only do they serve up great beer, they offer great events all summer long including live music, paint nights and festivals.

Bury Me Brewing

Halloween may be months away, but this one-of-a-kind brewery offers a shockingly refreshing menu of light and dark craft brews. As an exclusive summer deal, they’re now offering a new seasonal beer – Tree Food Pale Ale. In addition, three past favorites, The Hallowed Ground Hefe, The Weizen and The Dead Sea Gose, are all rising from the grave to refresh summer guests. 

Millennial Brewing

This young and upcoming brewery is a newfound favorite among Fort Myers locals. Stop by this summer and enjoy a wide selection of singular craft beers, including the all-new Tropical Wheat IPA and the soon-to-come Grapefruit Hefeweizen. Point Ybel Brewing Company

Get a taste of a small-batch brewery that brings a whole new meaning to the term “Island Hopping.” Specializing in pale ales and IPAs, this on-point brewery offers a diverse selection of top-notch beverages and multiple weekly events all summer long. Get a draught of their new Double IPA brewed with Sumo orange zest and locally harvested Thai and lemon basil, and double dry hopped with Mosiac hops. If you’re not trying to ride the hops, try their new Such Orange Much Sour, a sour ale with Sumo and honeybell orange zest!
