I was born to be a waterman – raised on the bayous and waterways of Louisiana and then spending more than two decades exploring both Florida coasts – boating, fishing, water skiing, diving, kayaking, kite surfing, stand up paddle boarding (SUP), and paddle surfing. Since 2011, as owner and Chief Board Schlepper at Yoloboard Adventures Sanibel, I’ve been privileged to share my love of Southwest Florida’s unique, aquatic ecosystems with locals and visitors alike. Students learn from our staff of instructors about proper paddle technique and gain a new perspective of our waterways from atop a stand up paddleboard.

As one of the founding members of the SWFL SUP Club and the head coach for Lee County’s Special Olympics SUP team, my job is to grow the area’s paddle community, who will enjoy and preserve this paddler’s paradise for generations to come.
