Culinary consultant Karen Feldman has been a devoted food lover her whole life, born into a family of foodies before being one was cool. She has spent the past two decades writing about the restaurant scene and reviewing restaurants in the region, first for The News-Press and more recently for Florida Weekly. Her reviews have covered everything from the food served at the Southwest Florida Fair and local ball parks to the toniest of restaurants and everything in between. She grew up in the Philadelphia area, went to college in Lancaster, Pa., then graduate school in New York City and has lived in Lee County most of her adult life and so considers herself a naturalized Floridian.
