Bike on beach

One of the main reasons The Beaches of Fort Myers & Sanibel is a great place to host your group event – other than the shell-strewn beaches, breathtaking sunsets and abundant wildlife – is the area’s convenient location. Once you’re on the ground, you’ve got a couple options for getting to your hotel. LeeTran Bus Route 50 will take you from the airport to connecting stops at Bell Tower Shops, Tanger Outlet Mall and Summerlin Square. Getting around the beaches

As soon as you’re settled in and ready to explore the islands, you’ll find that getting around is a snap. On Fort Myers Beach, the Beach Trolley, the Summerlin Square Park and Ride shuttle, and the Bonita Springs Trolley run seven days a week throughout the day. For more information on these shuttles, visit the LeeTran website. If you want to get around while learning a little bit about the area, check out the Sanibel Trolley Tour on Sanibel Island. Getting around offshore

Around here, waterways can see just as much traffic as highways. Some of the area’s best places to explore are only accessible by sea, so you may want to have a water taxi at the ready.
