This 50-acre hydroponic farm boasts the small town Midwestern comforts rarely available on The Beaches of Fort Myers & Sanibel. Indulge in the most authentic of meals, all made from scratch with fruits and vegetables harvested from the farm only days before (if not that very morning). After your meal, browse the local shop for produce and country themed souvenirs, and go home with a few freshly picked goods of your own. Buckingham Farms is open Tuesday–Friday, 8:00 AM–6:00 PM and Saturday 8:00 AM—4:00PM.
Rosy Tomorrows Heritage Farm is a gorgeous acreage located in North Fort Myers. Every day, their farm-to-table restaurant serves meat and chicken from 100% grass-fed Longhorn Cows, pastured Red Wattle pigs and Silver Laced Wyandotte chickens of their own heritage breed. After a delicious breakfast, lunch or brunch, guests are encouraged to visit the laying hens, the majestic long horn cows, baby calves and piglets! At the day’s end, pick up your daily provisions of pastured meats, poultry and eggs. Keep in mind, a reservation is required and they do not accept walk-ins.
This kid-friendly produce farm offers country fun for the whole family. You can pick and indulge in some of the most succulent strawberries and tomatoes in all of Southwest Florida. Dine at Cracker Shack Café and enjoy delectable farm-to-table cooking, complete with ice cream and pies. Then try your luck at panning for precious stones and fossils at their very own gem mine. This one’s for the kids as well. Bring the whole family to Southern Fresh Farms in Fort Myers for playgrounds, petting farms and guided tours. At the end of the day, visit their local market and stock up on fresh produce including locally produced raw honey, homemade jellies, fresh seafood, grass-fed beef and more! This one’s all about the honey. Walker Farms is located in North Fort Myers and offers an incredible range of flavored honey products from Orange Blossom to Black Mangrove. If you’re looking for a particularly sweet delicacy, try a 14-ounce hand-cut honeycomb square. Pay a visit to Walker farms and get a taste of Mother Nature’s sweetener.
