LEE COUNTY, FLORIDA – The award-winning Island Hopper Songwriter Fest has an exciting line-up of talented singer-songwriters performing this year.

Nashville hit-maker RaeLynn joins the festival as a headliner on Fort Myers Beach. She will be singing at the Pink Shell Beach Resort and Marina on Sunday, Oct. 1. RaeLynn’s top hits include “God Made Girls” and “Love Triangle.” “God Made Girls” was a Top 10 hit on the Billboard Hot Country Songs chart and a Top 20 hit on the Billboard Country Airplay chart.

Raelynn has also worked with some superstars in country music. She performed “Lie,” co-written by Miranda Lambert. She also sang background vocals for Blake Shelton’s “Boys ’Round Here,” which peaked at No. 16 on the U.S. Billboard Hot 100 chart.

“RaeLynn will be the exclamation point on 10 days of incredible artists at this year’s Songwriter Festival.” said Louis Kaplan, senior vice president of programming for iHeartMedia in Southwest Florida. “We’re so excited to bring in these writers and give you a chance to hear the back stories of some of our most popular songs.”

Other headliners include Lindsay Ell and Brooke Eden, who will be performing at Pincher’s at the Marina at Edison Ford downtown Fort Myers on the evening of Sept. 27.

This year, Island Hopper welcomes a variety of new singer-songwriters, like Natalie Hemby (“White Liar”) recorded by Miranda Lambert, Clint Daniels (“Brokenheartsville”) recorded by Joe Nichols, and Maggie Rose. The festival brings back Even Stevens (“I Love a Rainy Night”) recorded by Eddie Rabbit, Wynn Varble (“I’m a Little More Country”) recorded by Easton Corbin, Aaron Barker (“What About Now”) recorded by Lonestar, and Karla Davis.

This year’s festival brings more than 75 singer-songwriters from around the country. Singer-songwriters will perform more than 100 shows on Captiva Island, Fort Myers Beach and historic downtown Fort Myers.
