Lee County Visitor & Convention Bureau announces new visitor services coordinator

LEE COUNTY, FL – The Lee County Visitor & Convention Bureau (VCB), representing The Beaches of Fort Myers & Sanibel in southwest Florida, welcomes Jason Glasscock, visitor services coordinator. 

In the VCB’s Visitor Services department, Glasscock will coordinate the recruitment, training, and supervision of more than 100 volunteers who work the visitor information booths at the Southwest Florida International Airport. Other responsibilities include interacting with tourists to provide information and assistance, along with organizing special projects and events.

Most recently, Glasscock honed his customer satisfaction skills as a sales service representative with Cintas Corporation in Fort Myers. A 14-year veteran of the U.S. Navy, he became skilled in the management, administration, and analysis of numerous training programs. Glasscock gained extensive experience in volunteer recruitment and management, as well as event planning, while working at the Norfolk Potter’s House Church in Norfolk, VA, and the Potter’s House Church in Fort Myers. He also served as a community relations volunteer coordinator during his tenure with the military.

Glasscock earned a bachelor’s degree in business economics and a master of arts in theological studies from Liberty University, Lynchburg, VA.
