Lee County VCB to unveil latest marketing plan at Team Tourism Annual Summit

LEE COUNTY, FL – The Lee County Visitor & Convention Bureau (VCB) rolls out its 2014-2015 sales and marketing plan at its annual Team Tourism Summit, Oct. 8 beginning at 9 a.m. The event will be held at the Hyatt Regency Coconut Point Resort & Spa in Bonita Springs.

The VCB, along with its marketing agency, MMGY Global, will offer a variety of breakout sessions with expert panelists addressing emerging industry trends such as how to crack the mystery of traveler behavior and how to position businesses for the international traveler.

“In addition to sharing the bureau’s accomplishments from this past year, the VCB looks forward to presenting a range of important subjects that benefit our tourism partners,” said Tamara Pigott, VCB executive director. “We’ll present our marketing plan for the next year, including a robust co-op advertising program, which will continue to boost the area’s number one industry.”

Team Tourism is a year-round informational program sponsored by the VCB. It offers workshops and networking opportunities for industry partners, community leaders and VCB staff to strengthen teamwork and empower travel industry leaders to maximize marketing opportunities.
