W.P. Franklin US Army Corps of Engineers Day Use Area

W.P. Franklin South Day Use Area is located in Alva, Florida on the south bank of the Caloosahatchee river. For guest enjoyment there are picnic tables, two reservable picnic shelters (35 person max), boat ramp, restrooms, Visitor Center with interactive exhibits, observation platform for vessel viewing, playground, horseshoe pit, sand volleyball court, Lock and Dam tours when available, water safety activities.
