Located on the northern shoreline of the Caloosahatchee River, the preserve has picnic pavilions, a canoe and kayak launch into Popash Creek, a boardwalk and walking trails.
Primitive bicycling also recently opened as a new recreation use at Caloosahatchee Creeks Preserve East. Hikers, dog-walkers and bicyclists may now access together the 2.5-mile mowed East River Loop Trail, which includes water crossings and scenic views along the northern bank of the Caloosahatchee River. The preserve includes additional marked hiking trails, a boardwalk, picnic pavilions and a restroom.
