Join a park naturalist in the Art Hall of the Koreshan State Historic Site for a talk on gopher tortoises. Tortoises are interesting creatures as well as being an ancient species. They are fun to watch and are extremely interesting but we must never loose sight of the fact that they are endangered. Discussion will touch on behaviors, anatomy and fun facts as well as the ability to hold and see the shells of specimens that lived in Koreshan State Historic Site. There will be time at the conclusion of the talk for questions and clarification. Reservations requested.
