The Beaches of Fort Myers & Sanibel Visitor and Convention Bureau (VCB) delights in surprising meeting planners with its depth of service in all areas. The Bureau's staff is ready to work with you to help coordinate your event with selected suppliers. The Beaches of Fort Myers & Sanibel Conference Services include:

Site Selection

Our sales staff will help you locate the hotels and meeting venues that are just right for your event. Whether your group numbers 20 or 500, our staff can do everything from helping you compile meeting or conference bids to scheduling site inspections. Outline your criteria and we will get back to you with your requested information. VCB staff will forward your specifications to the appropriate hotels and get the responses you need. Pre-Conference Planning

The success of your event is greatly enhanced through early planning. The VCB is available to assist you in finalizing the details of your meeting, accommodations and meeting or conference facilities. We can also assist you in planning entertainment, such as a variety of theme parties at local attractions, spouse and youth activities, and introduce you to key people and services in our area who can facilitate smooth logistics for your event.

Attendance Building

To promote attendance at your event, we offer the following: The Beaches of Fort Myers & Sanibel videos, which promote Lee County and feature attractions, entertainment and leisure activities in the area; a full-color Visitor's Guide identifies key points of interest in the Fort Myers Sanibel area; full-color Nature Guide identifying eco-tourism and nature activities in the area; and beautiful postcards feature our famous sunsets.

Spouse and Youth Activities

Your accompanying guests will find plenty of entertainment during the hours you are in meetings or conferences. In addition to the local attractions to explore, staff can assist you in arranging a number of delightful spouse and youth programs.

Brochures

The VCB has information on attractions, dining and entertainment. For your delegate's convenience, we will stock your registration area with an adequate supply of our brochures. If you need more of any item than normally allotted, quantities may be purchased from the VCB at a nominal fee. Plastic bags are available for groups based upon availability.

Communications Department

The VCB's Communications Department can offer valuable suggestions for media coverage of your event. We can provide a publicity list including newspapers, television and radio stations in Lee County area. Also available to event planners is The Beaches of Fort Myers & Sanibel slide library from which to create promotional pieces and press kits with valuable background information. Visitor Service Center

VCB Staff and a team of approximately 100 ambassadors assist the traveling public from four domestic and international visitor information booths, located at the Southwest Florida International Airport. German is spoken at the visitor information booth located in the international arrivals building.
