Sanibel Harbour Resort & Spa has a black-out free travel agent policy. For 365 days a year, agents may book the resort and receive 50% off the published rate on any room category, and they may book at any time. Agents must present an IATA card at the time of check-in, and the offer is subject to stipulations and stay restrictions (minimum three night, etc.) for a given time period. Effective December 1, 2007 through December 20, 2007, the West Wind Inn on Sanibel Island offers travel agents a rate of $100 per night for a standard room. The Pink Shell Beach Resort & Spa on Fort Myers Beach is offering travel agents a 20% discount from now through February 14, 2008, on all unit types and a 50% discount on weekday and 20% discount on weekends from April 13, 2008, through December 23, 2008. There are no discounts from Feb. 15, 2008, through April 12, 2008. Travel agent rates include free breakfast every day for up to 2 people in the room. All rates are subject to availability, 11% sales tax and a $10 per night resort fee. The fee includes parking, local and domestic long-distance phone calls, high-speed Internet service, daily newspaper, fitness center access, pool and beach towels as well as use of the steam room in the spa. Agents must provide proper IATA identification and an IATA number at the time of booking. The Inn at The Springs in Bonita Springs is offering a travel agent special for the entire year of 2008. From January 1, 2008, until March 30, 2008, the Inn is offering Boutique Studio Suites at $114 per night and for the remainder of the year at $69 per night. This offer excludes holidays and is subject to availability and state and local taxes. To receive this special rate, agents must have a valid IATA number and provide travel agency information. The Fairfield Inn by Marriott offers a special travel agent discount of 20% off its regular rates year-round. Agents must have an IATA number and make reservations prior to their arrival date. Sunstream Hotels & Resorts is offering a travel agent special for the entire year of 2008. Properties included are Gullwing, Pointe Estero, and Diamondhead - all of which are located on Fort Myers Beach. A 50% discount off rack rates is offered Monday through Thursday. The offer excludes holidays and is based on availability. Travel agents need to provide a proper IATA ID to secure the special rate. Lovers Key Resort on Fort Myers Beach offers travel agents a 10% discount off rack rates from December 21, 2007, to April 14, 2008. From April 15, 2008, to December 20, 2008, agents can take advantage of a 50% discount off rack rates from Sunday through Thursday and a 20% discount on Friday and Saturday. Rates are subject to availability and are not valid on holidays. Agents must have a valid IATA number and provide travel agency information when making their reservations.
