2008 Miracle Baseball Season
The team’s 17th season, which runs through Sept. 2, includes weekly promotions and special fireworks, adding up to a great family outing.

The Miracle opens its 17th season Saturday, April 3, with a home game at Hammond Stadium in Fort Myers against rivals Sarasota Reds. The team’s following game, against the Reds on Sunday, April 4, concludes with a burst of ahh-inspiring fireworks.

There will be more fireworks displays, with games on May 3 and 24, June 28, July 3 and Aug. 30 ending with a boom. Other special events during April include a Guns ‘N’ Roses Tribute Night on April 11, T-shirt Giveaway Night on April 12 and Pillow Fight League on April 17.

The Miracle Professional Baseball Team, the Class A affiliate of the Minnesota Twins, has thrilled fans since 1992, and its signature weekly promotions and special events make the games even more fun.

Throughout the 2008 season, fans can hit Two for One Tuesday, when they can buy a small hot dog and beer or other beverage, and get the second free. On Thursty Thursdays, domestic draft beers are half-price.

The Miracle hosts 70 home games this year. Game time is usually 7:05 p.m. on weekdays and 1:05 p.m. on Sundays; check the website for details. Tickets are $5 for drink rail, lawn and reserved seating ($6 for fireworks games) and $7 for dugout and box seats ($8 for fireworks games).
