Florida Repertory Theatre has expanded its Saturday Lunchbox Theatre series for families.
Beginning Jan. 5 and running through May 10, 2008, the theater is offering 18 weeks of entertainment for all ages every Saturday morning. This year’s series will be presented at the Brick Bar Theatre, 2224 Bay St., the new home for the family theater series in Fort Myers’ River District.
Three plays will be presented in rotation: Zap! is a play about the many wonders of electricity. Ms. Courageous explores the lives of two of the world's most famous pioneering women in the field of science — Marie Curie and Elizabeth Blackwell. And The Mischief Makers takes a playful look at folklore's wiliest tricksters.
Showtime is 11 a.m., and the plays each last less than an hour. For more information, call 239-332-4665 or go to www.floridarep.org.
